NCIS Season 10 Final Arc, Ziva and Orli Elbaz Spoilers from Marina Sirtis

Before Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) head off to Berlin, they will have to contend with a New Mossad Director, Orli Elbaz (Marina Sirtis) and that first meeting is tonight! Having seen the NCIS 10×21 “Berlin” Sneak Peek, we already know that Ziva is not happy to see the Mossad getting involved. The hunt for Ilan Bodnar (Oded Fehr) is supposed to fall on the CIA. The NCIS team is treading on thin ice by trying to catch up with him before all of the other agencies can hunt him down.

For those of us who watch NCIS every week without fail, we know the case is personal and accept the case as Ziva’s right to pursue. Perhaps the real NCIS would not allow someone with such a personal attachment to a killer to go after him, but we know how Gibbs handled the murder of his wife and child. How could he not let her go? Having seen how well Tony has protected Ziva in the past, how could he not send them together?

In an Interview with Marina Sirtis, TV Guide’s Adam Bryant on April 23rd, 2013, she had these spoilers to offer:

Ziva will meet new Mossad Director Orli Elbaz (Star Trek: The Next Generation alum Marina Sirtis), the woman replacing Ziva’s murdered father. Naturally, their meeting will be fraught with various emotions, but perhaps for reasons other than the obvious. “There’s tremendous tension between these two women and there’s also a big reveal of what that relationship is about,” Glasberg teases.

Adds Sirtis: “There’s electricity. Ziva’s intensity is like a counterfoil to what my character’s feeling. She has a history with Ziva, and it’s kind of mind-blowing.”

“She’s kickass. She’s strong. She’s manipulative. She uses every weapon in her female arsenal,” Sirtis says. “These parts for middle-aged women in Hollywood do not come along very often. I’m thrilled that the producers of the show were brave enough to cast a woman in this role. They’re prepared to take risks. It’s a big gamble.”

Orli Elbaz makes her debut in tonight’s episode of NCIS, the much awaited 10×21 “Berlin” and this lady knows how to make an entrance. She has come to the US to investigate a Mossad Officer’s death, which I am sure we will hear much more about tonight and possibly next week in NCIS episode 10×22 which is titled “Revenge” airing on CBS Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 8:/7: Central.
